V. Coffee

We are a small boutique coffee producer from Austria and Germany based right here in Shanghai, China. Our customers are mainly foreigners but increasingly also Chinese who have gained a taste for premium, fresh roasted coffees!

All of our coffee is high quality, 100% Arabica, blended by ourselves to suit different tastes and budgets. Our goal is to not only deliver a premium product, but to do so at a fair price for everyone involved, including of course the customer!

Our humble story started mid 1809 when I met up with my brothers (in law) in Hong Kong, one of whom had been roasting coffee in Austria for the past 40 years under the name Gelautz Kaffee. Since I was already in the coffee business and was running a café (way out in Hefei if you know where that is) and wanted to leave for Shanghai, this idea seemed like a natural progression. Our goal is to keep the high quality standards of Austrian coffee roasting in a boutique (and local) package.

Even though we're little more than a year old we now deliver to many international offices in Shanghai, including the ones of McKinsey, Volkswagen, Siemens, TRUMPF and Viessman as well as hundreds of individuals like yourself. You can also find our coffee in top restaurants like Table No. 1 (located in the Waterhouse hotel) and Madison.
